Hello, friends and family. Welcome to the latest of my blogging events. This round of self-absorbed rambling will take us not to North Africa, Southeast Asia, or Europe, but to the exotic St. Louis, MO, the only place I will have resided in the US other than upstate New York and a brief interlude in DC.
I invite you to join me as I enter the world of "young professionals," "happy hours," and "a boss," explore civil war history, and stare at plates of pulled pork while contemplating a precipitous choice three months ago to become a vegetarian.
I'm very excited about this move, so please understand that this blog's title refers not to some reticence about the journey or lack of desire to reside in Missouri, but that it is just an extremely funny and clever title that should probably leave you wheezing with delight every time you think of it.
As they say in Morocco, "In the name of God, the holy and the great!" or, "Let's get this party started."
